WE ARE A PKD NEGATIVE CATTERY!
The British Shorthair cat is a compact, stocky cat of medium to large size. You may hear them described as "cobby" They are broad chested, with strong legs & a thick tail. A British Shorthair should have a round head & round whisker pads (chubby cheeks!)
A beautiful feature of these cats is their large round eyes which are always alert. Most colours have gold, copper to amber eyes, however, colourpoints have bright blue.
They are typically a quiet, calm breed of cat. Following you from room to room & quietly nestling beside you. They have a particularly patient nature & are very tolerant. As such, they are perfectly suited to both children & other pets.

Chicco is our new Champion stud boy.
He is a lovely cuddly friendly boy and we are so proud to have him here. He brings a new bloodline into our breeding programme and will also better our pedigrees.
We are hoping to continue with Chicco's show success with the GCCF in the near future!

This is our gorgeous Choccy boy, Monty!
He has come to us to allow us to work with the Chocolate series, which you can see, has the possibility of producing gorgeous kittens!
We are hoping that in years down the line we will be able to use Biscuit's dominant eye colour that he passed on to his daughters Kerri, Cully & Peaches, to produce cats that will be fantastic for crossing with Monty! He is a big bouncy lad that is incredibly alert & bright & loves to have a fuss.

Bentley is our baby boy from Clover and Monty. He is our first homebred stud boy!
He is lovely & chunky & is going to be a big lad when he's older. He is incredibly affectionate and absolutely adores attention. He has the palest Lilac coat I have ever seen and has gorgeous chubby cheeks. He is very special to me as he was born on my lap!
We are hoping his matings later this year will give us some good milk chocolate babies with nice thick coats like their Dad.
Bentley has been to his first GCCF show in 2010, which he absolutely loved! He came 2nd in his open class and received a very good review, detailing how short and dense his coat is, and the good width between his ears, and their neatness.
He has then gone on to receive his first CC and BOB at the Notts & Derby Show in 2011, thanks to judge Mr Welsh!

Shammy has recently come back to us as his new owner retired from breeding.
Shammy is a gorgeous cobby lad with lovely chubby cheeks. He has great eye colour for a Lilac too!
Shamrock has got his 1st cc and we hope to carry on his show career!

We have decided to neuter Cookie after his stud career didn't take off too well, and he much preferred the company of both other cats, and also being inside with us.
We felt it would be the best thing for him.
Cookie is our beautiful Cream Self boy.
He sired 3 beautiful kittens for us - Rossi, Sid & Rosie
Cookie is a very outgoing & friendly young lad, with a purr like an engine. He is so unbelievably affectionate and demands fuss by head-butting your hand!
He has wonderful eye colour. He is our little angel sent to help heal our broken hearts after his Dad unexpectedly passed away
Cookie is a real gentle baby, he purrs like you have never heard anything before and loves to headbutt you and give you kisses.
A lovely squidgy boy with the most wonderful eyes that make you melt.
Clover - Lilac Self (15c)

Meet Clover, the lady of our home. She is a beautiful girl & is very loyal to those she knows & trusts. Clover had her first litter in 2007 (you will find pictures in the kittens section) She produces babies that have the same loyal temperament. She has a very solid colouring. Clover carries colourpoint.
This year will be Clover's last litter.

Meet Muffin, our lovely solid Blue Cream girl. She has the most placid, sweet nature, and is a fantastic Mum. She is still very playful and is a fab combination of mature and kittenlike!
She is such a gorgeously good girl and a fine example of the breed. We will hopefully be looking at showing Muffin once she retires from Motherhood , depending on how she travels and takes to the show bench!
Muffin is a real cobby, chunky girl with a fantastic pedigree.
She loves to play with Jaffa, & sees Clover as her Mum!
She has a wonderfully thick, dense coat, and again, loves a fuss.
Her eye colour took a long time to come through, but has become the most amazing deep amber colour

Kerri is our first homebred Queen!
She is Jaffa's little girl to Biscuit. She has Jaffa's personality (very naughty!) & Biscuits build - well, the tummy anyway!
You only have to look at Kerri to start her purring.
She has wonderful deep amber eyes, and carries Chocolate, dilute & Colourpoint, and so gives us a great mixture of kittens.
Kerri will be retiring this year.

Peaches is a really cuddly, cobby girl that is afraid of nothing! She has amazing deep orange eyes & a very chunky build (albeit with quite short legs, which just make her look chubbier!) A real sweetheart & loved by everyone, following in her Dads footsteps

Wonder is a special girl - she was the last to be born in a litter of 8, and took both us and her Mum by surprise!
Wonder loves a fuss and is very affectionate & loyal to those she loves.
Jazzmin - Blue Tortie Bi Point (40 8w)

Jazzmin is out new addition! She is a beautiful baby girl, and is a real stocky and chunky baby. She is always purring and is a real gentle girl.
Jazz is a Blue Tortie Bi Colourpoint and is of fantastic type, and a valuable addition to our breeding programme, as she not only brings Bi Colours to us, but is a leap into the new coat pattern of Bi Colourpoints.
Unfortunately, Jazzmin is mismarked and is not able to be shown with the GCCF, but we may take her to a Tica show and see how she gets on.
Either way, she should produce us some wonderful kittens, in self colours, Colourpoint, Bi & Tri-Colour, and of course, Bi Colourpoints!
Jazzmin also carries Lilac.

She was never meant to be staying with us, but her naughtiness mixed with her "love me, I'm the baby" attitude just stole all our hearts!
Dodo has fantastic eye colour and her Mums in-your-face manner, all in all she is absolutely fantastic and we love her to bits.

Enya is our new baby girl imported from Ireland!
She is Fjorn's Daughter, so therefore Monty & Cully's Granddaughter, and so very special to us. She is the sweetest, friendliest little girl that is so unbelievably in your face wanting attention all the time. She never stops! She has such lovely orange eyes that look gorgeous against her jet black coat. She is going to be a stunner.
Enya has a fantastic pedigree, so any kittens between her and Chicco will have wonderful pedigrees.
We are hoping to see how Enya does on the show bench later in the year - she definitely has the personality to enjoy a TICA show!
